His capabilities span commercialisation, P&L planning, product strategy, business development and investor relations. He has worked across cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, critical care, diagnostics and orthopaedics, from multi-million-dollar enterprise tenders to statewide diagnostic deployments across more than 200 hospitals. His expertise spans intraoperative blood conservation, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and advanced mechanical circulatory support. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in extracorporeal circulation and has held executive board roles within the Australian and New Zealand College of Perfusion. ## Embedded clinical advisory partnerships Ascensio engages directly with internationally recognised clinical leaders across Australia and the United States in cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, intensive care, perfusion, orthopaedics and respiratory medicine.
